Tip to get your pet to wear a Costume

Pet costumes are cute, but more importantly, is what you have chosen will be comfortable for your furry friend? Think about when choosing a Halloween costume for you-would wear one that couldn't move properly? Would enjoy dangling pieces by dragging along the ground? What about a big fluffy costume hot, when you are going to be hot and crowded party? Think about how you would answer these questions, then start looking for a costume for your pet.

Comfort is key when it comes to choosing a costume company. Ensure that your pet be comfortable follow the tips below:

Sure your costume fits properly -choose one wide cuffs and collar.
Introduce slowly -pick up your pet costume at the beginning and have your pet wear it for shorter periods, gradually increasing the time. We also recommend to introduce a piece of cash costumes at a time.
Have lots of treats available -reward your dog or cat when wearing the costume, especially when you look first.
Ensure that can move freely -your pet's costume should not hinder his usual movements such as walking, running, jumping and turning his head from side to side.
Ensure that includes security functions, if necessary. If you plan to take your dog treat, reflectors, bells and lights are safety accessories useful.

Specific Cat Costume tips:

Starting with accessories only. Your Kitty may not mind a tricked-out collar, head wear or sweater, but all three at once can be overwhelming. Start with small accessories, introduced one at a time to see what works. You can always try introducing additional elements later.

Do not force it. No matter how cute you are watch, just wouldn't be worth it if your Kitty expressed extreme dissatisfaction when wearing a costume (e.g. growling, hissing, scratches, or refusing to proceed with the costume).

Keep an eye on. Cats love to chew on (and swallowing) dangling strings or certain materials (wool sweaters were a favorite snack of a cat, I once had). Watch carefully your cat when wearing a costume and make sure she is not doing a snack out of it.

Keep it short and sweet. Once again, most cats don't love sports pet costumes-so keep their short time in costume, take your photos nice and then remove it. Taking pictures is really why you're wearing them in the first place, right?
