Is your home a death trap for your pet?

We all like to think that our home is a safe haven for our pets and our family. In recent years there have been a lot of environmental skeletons come out of the closet. There were hours of dedication and relentless non-stop lobbying to stop the destruction that we are putting on this great planet of ours. Consequently people started to listen to and have begun to discover that much of what is happening in the world is not only affecting the planet, but affects the health and safety of each of us.

There was a lot of road head made during the last years to take a look more closely at what we are doing to ourselves. Just what we are exposing our bodies. With this new look on the lives we began to take a look at the lives of our pets. They are much worse off than us, really. At least we finally recognize physical signs that something could be wrong in our homes. If we start to develop allergies and breathing problems we are smart enough to start taking a look around the House to see if there is something there that could harm us. Many times we can not even be physical signs that there are something wrong with us and our alarm is generally not feeling well.

Our pets do not have the luxury of talk and tells us that you do not feel well. Yet there could be and it is very likely that at least some environmental hazards without our House which is having some type of negative effect on their health.

Perhaps you might think that you have taken all the measures that you can provide your pet with a safe environment, but there may be more that can be done for this. First step is to start educating yourself for what are the potential environmental hazards that may not seem significant to you as a human being, but may be to your pet. A good example of this could be many cleaning supplies that you use in your home.

Another problem that has just come to light recently is that many of the elements in our House that were purchased prior to 2004 were treated with fire retardant chemical. It was discovered that dogs that are on this type of furniture are showing higher levels of the chemical in their system compared to humans. Well now as can be for them?

Environmental issues affect us all, both human and animal. Stay informed of what is happening in your life environment through http://www.progreenworld.com/and http://www.progreenworldlegacy.com/
