I'm pretty lucky to be able to share the self healing energy of Reiki with not only humans but also with animals. If I can share a secret, kind reader-the animals are much easier to work with humans. They live moment by moment, completely aware of themselves at any time, never give a second thought-literally-to their essence at that time.
This is the ability that all Reiki practitioners love to experience how share energy self-healing with whom their recipient is at the moment. Is the thinking mind of humans that can disable or block and body capacity (essence) to draw the universal energy of life with which the body replenishes itself. It quickly becomes clear during a session of Reiki human if the guy on my desktop is using their mind other than forming a simple plan for self-healing. The body of the individual does not become as hot as you can, and my hands stay on the cold side compared to my lower body temperature. The energy flow feels so sticky-like honey that I have to move slowly through in order to facilitate Reiki. Could be a shopping list or a project that is due to the work that is being contemplated mentally. The context of the thoughts it doesn't really matter. What is important is that the mind-soul Almighty-is in control of the body at this point.
This is one of the jobs of the mind, after all. To direct the body in its continuous action by sending electrical impulses through the brain in various parts of the body. There is a time, however, when a simple request from the man in charge of mind-the mind may issue temporary grip on his body and allow the wisdom of the body to facilitate energy self-healing Reiki is wonderful.
It is not that animals do not have a mind-making as many fellow guardians can attest to animals when something like dog obedience training. All have the intellect that varies from breed to breed and species to species. And as an animal communicator I can testify personally to their distinct personalities and temperaments that make them unique-just like all of all human beings are unique.
Unlike human beings, the physical essence of the animal remains more closely integrated with self-healing. Honestly I don't know if that in the grand scheme of things a trade-off has been sanctioned by the ancestors of animals in the foregoing reasoning mind similar to humans in exchange for remaining faithful to their instinctive nature and physical bodies. Sometimes it seems as if having a dog or cat's life-sleep, eat and play-it would be a great and glorious thing for me to experiment. Similarly, I'm sure there are animals out there-domestic and wild-who would enjoy a respite from their place in prey vs. predator food chain.
And if an animal has been brought under the control of human beings or raised in this way does not alter their nature to be masterful to receiving Reiki. Everything you need to start a strong auto-healing energy flow va is for offer Reiki the animal with a blessing attached to healing with love and compassion-this last is my own. I had often not Reiki rejected by an animal regardless of their State of health. Healthy, sick, injured or recovering from surgery, Reiki has been offered and has accepted many times by many different animals. The effects are the same for humans: the animal generally relaxes and may even fall asleep. Their ranges of tolerance for Reiki are also more often than humans. An animal can take 10-15 minute Reiki only to wake up, shake off the excess energy gained, walking for a while, get a drink of water and then settle in for more Reiki.
Opportunities where Reiki does not begin to flow after an offer to a recipient of the animals were due to my difficulty in locating the vital energy of that animal. It sometimes happens that a pet is seriously ill and perhaps start to transition to the spirit world. The vital energy that all living creatures can be to a point a point against spirits that flows in a natural ebb and flow. When this occurs, which continue to offer Reiki for any purpose the animal chooses-to stay or as support for both the transition can be facilitated with Reiki.
To describe a Reiki connection with an animal is to imagine what it's like a rainbow energetic whose colors are filled with such depth and clarity that seem endless. And indeed, vital energy is unlimited-a lesson from our fellow-creatures that are offered with compassion and unconditional love. I hope, dear reader, that the next time that you have the opportunity to share Reiki with a practicing this lesson from our animals could support you as you disengage your mind for a while. Let the miracle that is the wisdom of your body you bring home a place of peace, harmony and well-being.
