Anniversaries from the loss of a loved one, if the animal or human, can arouse all kinds of memories, sweet and sad. Pet loss can be as a process of deep, as it is to lose a human being. Life is not what we think of after we lose a member of friends and family.
So, what can we do to help you not to get lost in the well of pain, but rather find our strengths and delve into our hearts anniversaries after the loss of a pet?
Find ways to cultivate the love that we shared with our animals through tributes, memorials, and free expression helps us to live more deeply, deeply, completely openly. We can use the love that we shared with our animals to help our hearts continue to grow and live.
I had a couple of cats, dogs and horses as an adult in the last 30 years. While I experienced deep wealth from themselves and sharing our life together, it's meant many died along the way. Addition of creativity in the grieving process helped tremendously.
My cat Queen Scarlet was about 19 years old when he gently just over a year ago. One of the many things I showed was as sweet and quiet can be this step by leaving the physical body and in spirit. This left me with sadness that she was no longer in her physical form, but also a rich peace on his death.
The day after Scarlet approved last year, my beloved old dog Liza, 13 years took a dip in the downhill. Nine days later he also passed. Yeesh, what a spring season! My goal is gone by the passage of scarlet by Miss Lizaloo.
I thought about planting some flowers around the grave of scarlet, but never got to it between by Liza, death and then my back injury. All followed by an incredibly hot and dry summer. Trying to dig a dry, Virginia clay with a back injury doesn't work so well. The flower garden just would have to wait! Instead of the physical Garden, I made the video tribute to honor the garden of their lives.
Arriving in 1 year anniversary of their death this spring I planted seeds and flowers as a living memorial to my sweet ones. Selected seeds for scarlet and Liza as I pointed out several times with their entire life together. I have proclaimed this as my new spring ritual to help me navigate with more gracefully through the anniversary of their death in the spring, my favorite time of year.
Now, instead of looking back in time and feeling and focusing only on the leak, I flowers to brighten up the streets around the House to resonate in my heart. Colours, perfumes and growth of many flowers bring soft, sweet joy through my heart as I recall Liza and Scarlet whenever I walk in this area. Flowers soften my heart, lift my spirit and keep turning the remnants of sadness that inevitably arise.
As I write this, I can still hear his paw luxuriously long Scarlet, Jet Black, delicate resting on my hand. She was not a snuggler. But she would reach out its paw to touch me on the rare occasions that you bless me with his presence in the bed-it was so tender, sweet and comforting. Liza and I feel in my heart, and see it in my mind's eye humour and pushing me to laugh out loud. I'm glad to hear that you are continuing to monitor my life from this new form. You definitely have a new observation point!
I think our sadness is a reflection of the depth of the love that we have in our hearts for our loved ones. And, whatever tools we can use to keep transforming the sadness, leaving the energy of emotions that move through our hearts instead of attacking, campsites and crowding our hearts is a positive, life affirming way to the love we have for our loved ones who have passed on honor. They do not like us remain mired in our pain and sadness. I think we always want to feel the joy and pleasure in our hearts and remember them with openness and warmth.
My prayer is that this book will serve as a source of inspiration for you, just as it did for me. This can create a spark in you to continue to cultivate the garden of your heart and let your love flow through to soothe and comfort of any losses that might have had. Living loud in your heart.
