Russian dwarf Hamster

Don't keep your Hamster's cage near the doors. For obvious reasons, out of doors pose quite a problem when owning a hamster. Some cages provide better security as aquarium tanks, but if you have a wire cage, where you place it becomes even more important.
Do not clean the hamster cage with harsh chemicals. Instead, opt for mild solutions available at pet shops or use a very mild soap and water for dishes to thoroughly clean the cage. Always rinse well and allow to dry thoroughly before placing the new bedding inside.
Clean the hamster cage every day. It is not necessary to change the bedding out completely, but you must leave the dirty bit. Dirty linen Scoop and old food every day.
Don't keep males and females together. Unless you want lots of baby hamster, keep males and females in separate cages. The gestation period for a dwarf Russian Hamster pregnant is very short (16-20 days) so you can see how quickly you might end up with a problem of population.
Leave your Hamster only during the day. Hamsters are mostly awake at night and sleep all day. Keep your Hamster happy and allow them to their rest. How would you like it if every few hours someone picked you out from your warm bed, toast? Now you know how you feel your Hamster.
Give your Hamster some fresh fruits and vegetables every couple of days. In addition to his Hamster food, provide some bites of apple, tomato, corn, broccoli and lettuce green leaf.
